Its fair to say that the weather here is miserable today. As a result I've been couped up inside all day with only a brief venture outside before the heavens reopened.
With time to kill and while listening to another poor performance by my football team I decided to try and be productive.
As part of my effort to try and make things easier to find I have created what I refer to as 'Class Collections'. Put simply, name a class and find all the photos in one lovely folder. I started this a couple of weeks ago and now have managed to get five folders done. These can be found at:
Doing these folders made me trawl through a lot of photos I've not looked at in a long time. With the amount I take its easy to forget some of the classics and as such I thought it worthwhile to create a favourites collection. This is one I intend to keep adding to in an effort to find them more easily.
In other news I was recently contacted about the use of a particular photo to be displayed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Trust on their website. They are the team who are responsible for many of the wonderful carriages seen on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and had stumbled upon one of my photos of the 'Blackpool Club Car' that has recently been restored.
It has to be said that they did a fantastic job. I expect this carriage to see many miles of use over the coming years.
